the amount of keywords you are using on any page, compared to the amount of other readable and valuable text it is better to have a about 3-4 repetitions of keyword on a page with 600 words of content that is about 1.5%

Keyword density is a combination of the number of times a keyword or a keyword phrase, in proportion with other words, appears on a Web page. The more times the keyword appears in relation to the total number of on page words, the greater the overall keyword density. The more times that other words appear, the lower the proportion of keywords, resulting in a lighter keyword density.

Keyword density is simply the percentage or the total no of times a keyword is appearing in your content.

Keyword density is the process of percentage or ratio about keyword occurrences divides by total no. of words that is called keyword density. Equation for the finding keyword density is as follows:-
KD= keyword occurrences/total words *100
If total no. of words is 1000 and keyword occurrences is 50 then 50/1000*100 so that keyword density is 5%.

repeats of the keyword / total number of words on the page * 100 = Your Keyword Density
EX : Your repeats keyword is = 3
Total number of words on page = 100
So 3/100*100 = 3
