FanSnap is an online search engine for live event tickets, based in Palo Alto, California.[1] Founded in 2007, FanSnap aggregates event-level ticket data from dozens of event ticket providers and helps concert, theatre and sports fans search among millions of tickets to find exactly the event tickets they desire. FanSnap's search engine combines results from ticket issuers and various providers in the ticket resale industry including ticket resale marketplaces such as RazorGator, StubHub, TicketNetwork and eBay, as well as ticket brokers including Ace Ticket,, Barry's Tickets, Gold Coast Tickets and Las Vegas Tickets.[2][3]

FanSnap does not sell tickets directly to its end-users. Instead, it aggregates event-level ticket data from ticket providers, presents that data in response to user searches and directs users to third-party ticket providers for purchase. FanSnap generates revenue through cost per click and cost per action advertising based upon its referral of users to such third-party ticket providers.

FanSnap's founders possess deep industry experience from the live event ticketing and online search industries and have previously worked at StubHub, Apple Inc., MTV and NexTag. FanSnap has raised $10.5 million in start-up capital from General Catalyst Partners of Cambridge, Massachusetts.


FanSnap lets fans search and filter results for live event tickets by date, venue, team and type of event. FanSnap offers industry-first interactive maps that allow fans to zoom in and focus on available tickets at row level. FanSnap has struck partnerships with Bleacher Report and Yardbarker to integrate its search capabilities into those popular sports blog networks.[4] Those networks feature FanSnap search results relevant to the teams and sporting events being discussed by bloggers and readers.
