The Convex Software Library is an open source client-side library that runs as a hidden applet in a Web browser and provides XForms support for browsers that do not support the World Wide Web Consortium standard. It is a subproject of the Chiba Engine.
It can be useful as a transition W3C standard over time while browsers develop. Its drawback is the requirement of Java installed in the client side which is sometimes not available. This however is not a roadblock for usage in environments that lack Java support, since Java can be used out of the box with Google Web Toolkit and therefore the library could be ported to be run with Javascript which is present in nearly all browsers.
