Merchants can gain access to an untapped pool of shoppers by offering compelling bargains to CouponSmarter users. Users can submit and share publicly available coupon codes on CouponSmarter.
The site is an affiliate marketing website, partnering with networks such as the Google Affiliate Network, Shareasale and Commission Junction to promote different merchants. The site makes money by earning a commission from stores it promotes. CouponSmarter referred traffic to retailers relies upon the availability of promotional codes and coupons for a given retailer[4]. This is tracked by the affiliate networks.
