Serious Eats is a website and blog focused on celebrating and sharing food enthusiasm through blogs and online community. Created by food critic and author Ed Levine, Serious Eats employs a combination of community and content to bring together food bloggers worldwide, along with compelling original and acquired food video, and spirited, inclusive, conversations about all things food- and drink-related.

The site consists of "Serious Eats", a news and commentry section; "Recipes", which gathers and curates recipes from cookbook writers, chefs, and the community; "Eating Out", an advice section; and "Talk", the community forum.

The Serious Eats family of sites also includes "Serious Eats: New York"; "Slice", which offers pizza-related news digests, reviews, videos, and musings; "A Hamburger Today", a hamburger blog; and "Photograzing", a place for people to share their food photography and discover new food blogs.

Serious Eats was ranked #17 on Time Magazine's list of the 50 Best Websites.[1]
The Serious Eats Staff
- Ed Levine, founder of Serious Eats, is a New York–based food writer, cookbook author, and frequent New York Times contributor. His stories on iconic American foods such as hot dogs, hamburgers, ice cream, and cheesecake have appeared in many U.S. periodicals, including GQ, BusinessWeek, and the New York Times.
- Alaina Browne, Serious Eats' general manager and the creator of A Full Belly.
- Adam Kuban, Serious Eats' managing editor. He is the founder and editor of Slice, "America's Favorite Pizza Weblog," and the burger blog A Hamburger Today, both of which have now become part of Serious Eats.
- Robyn Lee, aka The Girl Who Ate Everything, is the editorial assistant. Robyn takes many of the photos found on the site.
